The wickedness of the mind is not without trouble. Seeing your patterns in a constructive way enables to unshackle the tight chains around your ankles and start the smalls steps of realisation, learning, and personal growth. I have often been on this seemingly weird life path. To be open with its curves and twists is essential to your well being. To be a gentle warrior is not only a great visualisation for your mind, but also utterly crucial in discovering and growing in a playful and fun way. It seemingly follows the principles that I often mention: to flow with life.
Life has to be seen as a continuous flowing river, constantly changing in depth and fury. If one has to change its course it might take some time to diverge its power. Being gentle means taking the time for such a transition knowing that whatever comes its way is faced with humor, playfulness and acceptance. Being gentle means having compassion for one selves, even when initially you would like to change yourself. Being gentle is carefully feeling what your body requires and nurturing it with love. Being gentle means listening with curiosity and without judgement to your inner dialogues. Being gentle means realising that one only needs time to able to change thoroughly.
A gentle warrior aspires to be its best self, to be free of any self induced pressure, to exists as a human from flesh and blood with its beautiful imperfections. Picture yourself dancing on the most beautiful music, flowing on the rhythm from one movement to the other, and keeping in touch with your dance partner. Picture yourself surfing on the highest wave, feeling your strong pulse, feeling the flow of the water propelling you forward, and anticipating when the wave ends. This ultimate connection with your body and your surroundings, is the gentleness of life. Let life flow where it needs to go.
